Whether you need two yards or two hundred yards, our team has the experience to help with your specialty soil needs. Below, you’ll find a sample of popular mixes Highway Fuel has blended in the past. Blueberry Mix

Our Blueberry Mix is a proprietary blend designed to provide the pH requirements and drainage needs for your in-ground blueberries. As this is a base blend, you may need to supplement feeding throughout the growing season with an acidic fertilizer.

Dahlia Mix

Our Dahlia Mix is a proprietary blend of Sandy Loam, Fine Dairy Compost, and Pumice, created with input from our friends at Swan Island Dahlias. It is designed to provide your dahlias with the soil they’ll love.

Rose Garden Mulch

Uses our blend of Aged Hemlock and Fine Compost. Be sure to double-check soil pH when planting new roses.

Water Quality Mix

A blend composed of sand, loam, and organic matter specifically designed to filter storm-water runoff. We have designed several variations of this blend for different applications such as bioswales, rain gardens, and other types of water treatment facilities. This product can be installed using Highway Fuel’s Conveyor Truck service. Please call for availability.

Clay Soil

Compost Mix and Washed Sand will improve drainage and add nutrients.

BYOB

Build Your Own Blend – Let us blend your soil to your specs, choosing from our various soil mixes, composts, and amendments. Contact us for more information. Note: Please call in advance to place an order for custom soil blends. Prices vary.
