Description

Our base compost is derived from yard trimmings and other plant material. It is produced under controlled aerobic decomposition and is tested regularly to ensure the destruction of weed seeds and pathogens and to monitor NPK (nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium),  values. This product is dark brown to black in color, screened at 1/2″. It has a high organic content and a neutral pH. Use compost to break up clay or compacted soils, or to top dress gardens or flower beds.

Application: Add 3-4 inches and till into existing soil to a depth of 6-8 inches, or apply 2-3 inches when used as a top dressing.
