The mission of the Boys & Girls Club of Salem is to inspire and enable all youth ages 6-18, especially those who need us most, to realize their full potential as productive, responsible and caring citizens through the development of a positive self-image and self-reliance.

Oregon Paralyzed Veterans is an organization that, since 1976, has successfully worked to maximize the quality of life for its members and all people who have spinal cord injury and disease. OPVA is a leading advocate for health care, SCI/D research and education, veterans’ benefits and rights, accessibility, and more.

The Oregon FFA (formerly Oregon Future Farmers of America) is the state affiliate of the National FFA Organization. The organization serves over 4600 students in 111 local chapters throughout the state.

Through volunteer labor and tax-deductible donations of money and materials, Habitat for Humanity of the Mid-Willamette Valley builds and rehabilitates simple, decent houses with the help of the homeowner (partner) families.

Marion-Polk Food Share (MPFS) is a non-profit charity providing food for people at risk of hunger in Oregon’s mid-Willamette Valley. Between July 1, 2010 to June 30, 2011, MPFS distributed 7.6 million pounds—just to assist hungry residents of Marion and Polk counties.
